Oʻzbekistonlik. Generating Ideas international forum was taken place on 23rd April in Paris. It was the second forum of Uzbekistan's club creative team. The initial one was released in Berlin on 1st October 2022.
Over 200 participants who are successful internationally and media leaders from Uzbekistan attended the forum.
Oʻzbekistonlik. Generating Ideas international forum's aim is to create a global networking space among successful Uzbeks abroad, to exchange ideas on important issues that should serve the development of Uzbekistan. For this purpose, a discussion panel was held during the forum on topics such as human capital development, ecology and green economy, digital technologies and creative industries.
The authors released the premiere of Oʻzbekistonlik 3 in the forum. The following masterpiece narrating about successful compatriots include the life story of Azizbek Shohakimov, the artistic director and conductor of the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra, and Madina Berdiyeva, IT architect of Shell company.
One of the main topics of the forum was the problems of the Aral region and the increasingly disappearing Aral Sea. The presentation of the "Woman in Salt" series dedicated to Karakalpakstanis living with Aral problems, prepared by the team of the High Council of Karakalpakstan and the Aral Dream non-profit organization, took place. The project includes a portrait of Karakalpakstan women, a short film and a fashion exhibition inspired by the Aral Sea. The goal of the "Woman in Salt" project is to draw the attention of the world community to climate change and its impact on the lives of the women living there.
During the event, guests got information about Uzbekistan's club platform created to bring together the Uzbekistanis who are succeeding at the international level, is to turn this space into a hub of their intellectual potential. At the presentation, it was informed that the Uzbekistanis who gained success abroad can now join Uzbekistan's club team by registering on the uzbekistans.club website.
Besides, viewers listened to the soundtrack of Oʻzbekistonlik by Konsta, an Uzbek rapper. The team decided to start a new magazine with a new trend to tell more stories about our successful compatriots to deliver it to a wider audience. The first publication of Uzbekistan's club magazine will be presented in the next forum.
A culinary show was organized with one of the forum's partners, Pepsi. Additionally, the large partner companies: Orient Group, Uzbekistan Airways, Pepsi, ANORBANK and Ucell expressed support for the forum.
We are planning to hold the next Oʻzbekistonlik. Generating Ideas international forum in one of the world's major capitals in the following autumn. The team plans to film and premiere new episodes this year as well.
