The Euronews channel has released a one-minute video showcasing the activities of Uzbekistan's national pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival. The aim of this campaign is to raise awareness about Uzbekistan's new image, promote tourism, enhance its reputation, and present Uzbekistan as a modern, intellectual, and competitive country to the world.

This is the third time Uzbekistan has participated in the Cannes festival, and the country is gradually emerging as a new destination for filmmakers, thanks to its ancient villages, towns, and landscapes. Uzbekistan is currently focused on further developing its tourism potential, and films and shows play an important role in promoting the country's name. The report notes that the Aral Dream and O‘zbekistonlik platforms were also presented at the national pavilion during the festival.

The Aral Dream platform is designed to raise awareness about the drying of the Aral Sea, which is one of the biggest environmental disasters in human history and has had a devastating impact on the region's population.

The O‘zbekistonlik platform focuses on the stories of Uzbekistan's compatriots who have gone abroad in search of a better life and to pursue their dreams. The platform tells stories about the challenges of living in a foreign country, among strangers, and missing their homeland and loved ones. The film truthfully reflects the experiences of people with different backgrounds and aspirations but united by their common goals.
